AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The aims and objectives for which the Foundation is established are to promote the highest standards of medical service to the people of the Whanganui Region by means of:
  • Promotion of education sessions to ensure the dissemination of recent advances in knowledge and technique in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.
  • The promotion of instructional visits from recognized medical authorities.
  • Encouragement and assistance of medical research locally.
  • Support of the hospital Medical Library.
